​​RULES:

  1. Only take from the trailer what you have booked or you could be suspended from booking equipment for up to one month.
     

  2. All gear is to be returned at the end of the final day of the riders booking.
     

  3. All faults must also be reported to uoakitesurfclub@gmail.com within 24hrs of the fault being spotted.
    The faulty item is NOT to be placed back with all the usable gear. 
    Failure to report faults will result in a suspension from booking gear deemed reasonable by the committee.

     

  4. If the committee finds you to be liable for the damage you have caused to club gear in your possession you will be liable for the cost of the repair.
    You will also be responsible for picking up the item, taking it to Kiteworks (181 Symonds St, Eden Terrace, Auckland) and returning the item when it is repaired.
     

  5. If you lose any club gear while it is in your possession you will be liable to the replacement cost of the item lost.  

  6. Damage needs to be reported as soon as possible by filling out the damage form.

  7. Please make sure you check all your gear at the trailer before you head out for a session and call the monthly gear officer or let a committee member know about any missing or faulty gear.

 

PUNISHMENTS:

  • If you return gear after your rental period is over you can be suspended from booking gear for a period deemed reasonable by the committee.
     

  • If you are caught in possession of club gear that you have NOT booked you can be suspended from booking gear for a period deemed reasonable by the committee.  (This also applies to the use of CLUB BARS on PERSONAL kites. Club bars are ONLY to be used on CLUB KITES.)
     

  • Failing to report any fault on a kite, even a fault caused by someone else can result in a suspension deemed reasonable by the committee
